Rhythm Rhyme Time

This arts-integrated workshop is an exciting way to enhance early literacy for young readers! Through rhythm-based storytelling, rhythm rhymes and hand-on drumming, kindergarteners & 1st graders learn fundamental reading and storytelling concepts: rhyming words, beginning/middle/end, sequencing, character, setting and couplets. With a special emphasis on retelling, students are encouraged to look for the stories in their everyday lives and share them with others!
