Hey! What’s that Sound?

This STEAM-powered program explores sound & science through world percussion and high energy audience interaction!  In Hey! What’s that Sound?, your students will explore sound & science concepts through engaging demonstration, intriguing show & tell and world music performance!

During this 45-minute assembly program, students are introduced to basic sound & science principles, various environmental resources and how this knowledge can help us to better understand how music is created.  Students witness how various sounds come together to create music, and learn how sound is produced, transmitted and received.

Concepts & terms covered in this fun-filled assembly include vibration, pitch, volume, friction, wavelength, frequency, amplitude and chain reaction.

Grades: 1-4, 250 student audience limit per Assembly for maximum audience interaction, engagement & participation.
